It was a pleasure to provide wedding entertainment for James and Hannah at their beautiful tipi wedding at Overton Farm in Newent, Gloucestershire.

The weather was fantastic, creating the perfect setting for an outdoor summer wedding. Friends and family gathered to celebrate in the countryside, enjoying drinks, great company and, of course, plenty of close-up magic throughout the evening.

As a wedding magician, one of my favourite parts of any wedding is meeting guests of all ages and helping to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The guests at James and Hannah’s wedding were fantastic and great fun to entertain, with plenty of laughter, amazement and memorable reactions throughout the performance.

One particularly funny moment happened just before the speeches. A guest who was acting as MC for the day was helping to round everyone up into the marquee. Not realising I was the magician, he announced over the microphone:

“Can the guy in the checked suit make his way in please!”

A few moments later he followed it up with:

“The guy who looks like an estate agent!”

Fortunately, I was able to get my own back later in the evening! During one of the magic effects, the MC became the star of the show when a playing card impossibly changed to reveal the message:

“I DON’T LOOK LIKE AN ESTATE AGENT”

The reaction from the guests was priceless and it became one of the talking points of the evening.
