It was a real pleasure to perform close-up magic for Anton & Lydia’s wedding at the beautiful Kingscote Barn in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.

Despite a few travel challenges in the area caused by a local road closure, everyone was soon settled in and ready to celebrate! After some of the very hot weddings we’ve had this summer, the slightly cooler weather was actually very welcome and provided lovely conditions for guests to enjoy the drinks reception.

I performed close-up magic during the drinks reception, moving between groups of family and friends while Anton & Lydia had their wedding photographs taken. This is one of my favourite times to perform at a wedding, as it helps bring guests together, creates plenty of laughter and gives everyone something to talk about while the newlyweds are busy with their photographs.

As always, I finished with something a little more personal for the newlyweds, leaving Anton & Lydia with a magical souvenir to keep as a reminder of their special day.

It was also lovely to work alongside the fantastic Bridge Strings once again, who provided the live music during the celebrations. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside them at a number of weddings over the years, and it’s always great to see them.

A special thank you also goes to Sarah from Lentsch Photography, who originally recommended me to Anton & Lydia. It was great to work alongside Sarah again and I’m very grateful for the recommendation.
